Articooler Model CA: Current delivery dates have moved back again to August 23. Much has changed in the last 24 hours as to availability and pricing. I have to say Agilent was no
help in resolving this issue but I have finally got one of the distributors to admit to really having volume pricing and perhaps Agilent really does not have a policy of price fixing that was claimed by several of the distributors. More will follow shortly as the details
are worked out.

"Articooler Model CA: Now they are talking about August and they have pulled a stunt typical of HP/Agilent that may result in us not carrying this product and the consumer having to pay prices in the $38-$60
range. HP/Agilent has apparently imposed a requirement on distributors that they charge the full suggested retail price of $28 to resellers regardless of quantity ordered. The catch is that they will only sell to 4 exclusive distributors that will in turn only sell to business.
This means for you, the consumer, that you will have to pay 33%-100%+ over suggested retail price just to get one. The whole situation just sucks. I would like to see HP/Agilent get scorched in the press for this monopolistic, price fixing practice and the distributors like
Avnet that are not only going along with it but eating it up."
